Services and Events in the near future in the Benefice of St Ippolyts with Great and Little Wymondley

Wednesday 6th May  11am - Holy Communion at St Ippolyts Church 12.45pm - 2pm Community Lunches in St Ippolyts Parish Hall

Wednesday 6th May 3pm - 4.30pm - Tea at Three at Great Wymondley Village Hall

Wednesday 6th May 7.45pm - St Mary’s Hitchin, the Archdeacon’s visitation service when our Churchwardens are ‘sworn in’. Come along and support them.

Thursday 7th - Don’t forget to Vote!!

Thursday 7th 12noon - Luton Crematorium. Funeral of Margaret Wines RIP

Friday 8th May 11am - Toddlers’ service at St Ippolyts Church

Saturday 9th May 11am-2pm The Plant Sale! at St Mary’s Church, Little Wymondley. Do come along and support us at our first fundraising event of the year. Lots of wonderful plants for sale, plus Cakes and preserves. Tea and coffee also on sale

Sunday 10th May 3pm -St Ippolyts Church a concert given by Jayne Mason and Friends.

Wednesday 13th May Baptism Preparation Evening, 7.30pm at the Vicarage

Sunday 10th  May Services

9.30am Holy Communion at St Ippolyts

9.30am Special service for Rogation day in St Mary’s church Great Wymondley.

The visiting speaker will be a spokesperson for the charity ‘Farm Africa’ and we will be joined at 10am by the Letchworth Morris men and then we shall process around the village asking for God’s blessing on the crops in the fields and the gardens.

6.30pm Evensong at St Ippolyts

No service at Little Wymondley on Sunday 10th May

Christian Aid Quiz Night at Christchurch on Saturday 9 May at 7.30pm. Fish/sausage and chip supper or vegetarian option. Tickets £10, no food £4. Teams of 6-8 encouraged. Thursday 14th May Ascension Day = Our Benefice service this year will be at 7.30am at St Mary’s church, Little Wymondley, followed by breakfast in the churchyard or cooked at a house in church path ( depending on the weather!).. Everybody welcome
