100 CLUB

For all in our community St Ippolyts Church has a very real presence in our lives.  We see it almost daily in its fantastic position at the top of the hill.  It is one of the few buildings that, if it were suddenly wiped out, we would all notice that it had gone, and we would miss it.

The maintenance and running of the church is entirely funded by donations at a local level.

St Ippolyts church is a Grade 1 listed building which means we are required to use specialist skills and contractors to maintain and repair, and this is expensive.

One way you can help is to join our ‘100’ club.  This was started in 1990 by Jean Williams and has raised money for the church fabric ever since.

Half the subscriptions return to members as prizes in a draw and half goes towards the repair and maintenance of the ‘fabric’ of the church.  The 100 Club has contributed toward new roofing on the tower and the nave, repairs to the buttresses, rebuilding the wall opposite the school, resurfacing the path from the lych gate to the church – and much more.

The current membership exceeds 100 people and we would like it to continue to grow. The subscription is £10 per year per number and there is no limit to the number of tickets you can hold.
