Parish Hall Fair - Plenty for everyone to enjoy!

The annual Parish Hall Fair was another great success with the ladies from St Ippolyts Church 'manning' a bottle stall. The children {and parents) seemed to like the sweets, toys etc inside the bottles and jars and as a result the afternoon was an excellent fund raising event for the Church and the Parish Hall.

The visit to Revd Ann's Licensing Service 17th November 2015

A jolly bunch of Benefice parishioners hired a coach (thankyou to Roger) and travelled down to the wilds of Kent to St Dunstan's Church Cranbrook for the licensing of Revd Ann. We were all warmly welcomed by the churchwardens and fed and watered before the installation service. The service was led by The Right Revd Trevor Willmott, Bishop in Canterbury and Bishop of Dover. He welcomed Ann and her hens to the parish and his welcome was echoed by leaders of the local councils, chamber of commerce, schools, members of the PCC and the choir.

The evening ended with  canapes and wine and, of course, a good natter with the Cranbrook PCC.

We are now well and truly vicarless!!
