It has been a lovely summer holiday. I am excited to be going back to school and seeing all my friends and my new teacher and classroom. I have had a nice holiday. My favourite bit was visiting a Talayotic village. The buildings were from 1600BC until 123AD and the one in the middle reminded me of Stonehenge which was really interesting.
In August we watched the solar eclipse from the Churchyard in St Ippolyts and had a really good view. We had to wear special glasses to protect our eyes. It was the first eclipse I have seen because I remember the last one we were going to watch it at school but it was too cloudy so we couldn’t see anything. I would love to see another one day.
