Wednesday 6th May 7.45pm - St Mary’s Hitchin, the Archdeacon’s visitation service when our Churchwardens are ‘sworn in’. Come along and support them.

Saturday 9th May 11am-2pm - The Plant Sale! at St Mary’s Church, Little Wymondley. Do come along and support us at our first fundraising event of the year. Lots of wonderful plants for sale, plus Cakes and preserves. Tea and coffee also on sale
Sunday 10th May 3pm -St Ippolyts Church a concert given by Jayne Mason and Friends.
Wednesday 13th May Baptism Preparation Evening, 7.30pm at the Vicarage

9.30am Holy Communion at St Ippolyts
9.30am Special service for Rogation day in St Mary’s church Great Wymondley.
The visiting speaker will be a spokesperson for the charity ‘Farm Africa’ and we will be joined at 10am by the Letchworth Morris men and then we shall process around the village asking for God’s blessing on the crops in the fields and the gardens.
6.30pm Evensong at St Ippolyts

Christian Aid Quiz Night at Christchurch on Saturday 9 May at 7.30pm. Fish/sausage and chip supper or vegetarian option. Tickets £10, no food £4. Teams of 6-8 encouraged. Thursday 14th May Ascension Day = Our Benefice service this year will be at 7.30am at St Mary’s church, Little Wymondley, followed by breakfast in the churchyard or cooked at a house in church path ( depending on the weather!).. Everybody welcome

Wednesday 29th April 11:00am Holy Communion at St Ippolyts Church
Friday 1st May 11:00am Toddlers’ service at St Ippolyts Church
Saturday 2nd May 2.30pm onwards, Spring Fair at Gosmore Care home. Please support this event. The funds raised will be used for social activities for the residents.

Taizé service at St Mark's As part of its celebration of St Mark's Day, St Mark's church is having a Taizé service today at 6.30pm. This will include Taizé chants led by the choir, a reflection by Margaret Johnson of St Mary's, Pirton, and time for quiet devotion. Members of all churches are very welcome to attend.

BIBLE STUDY GROUP
The Bible Study Group will resume meetings on Wednesday 22nd April. We meet from 2.30pm. till 3.30pm. at Oakhurst (behind Kingshott School) home of Margaret Edmonds. GENERAL ELECTION MEETING
General Election meeting at Christchurch, Hitchin 7.30 pm on Wednesday 22 April. Churches Together in Hitchin (CTH) is arranging a hustings at which candidates for the Hitchin and Harpenden constituency will respond to questions put by members of churches.
