The Vicar returns from holiday on Tuesday 9 June but, if you urgently need a priest before then, please contact one of the Churchwardens.

June PAX - apology.  Unfortunately, part of the last paragraph of 'Reverend Ann's Diary Dates' (Page 7 of the June PAX) was omitted.  The whole paragraph should have read:

In March and April we had our Annual Church Meetings and as a result we welcome some new PCC members: at St Ippolyts, Andrew, Richard and Caroline; at Great Wymondley, Sue, Doug and Peter; and at Little Wymondley, Melanie.  We also welcome Jane Veasey as the new churchwarden at St Ippolyts.  Please remember all the PCCs and churchwardens in your prayers this coming year.

Sunday 14 June            St Ippolyts & Gosmore Open Gardens    Noon-6pm

There will be more than 12 gardens to visit.  Admission £5 (children under 16 free) - all proceeds to St Ippolyts Church.  Tickets will be on sale on the day from the Parish Hall, Gosmore Green and the car park off Maydencroft Lane.

Saturday 20 June         The Annual St Albans Pilgrimage       (St Alban's Day 22 June)

11.00: Procession sets off from St Peter's via the City Centre to the Abbey

12.00: Eucharist in the Abbey - preacher the Archbishop of Canterbury

  4.00: Festal Evensong - preacher the Archbishop of Rouen

Friday 26 June               St Ippolyts School Summer Fair

Thursday: Corpus Christi.  Friday: St Boniface of Crediton.  Saturday: St Garlath of Tuam

The Vicar is on holiday until 9 June and so, if you need a priest while she is away, please contact one of the Churchwardens.

Today, on this fifth Sunday of the month, we thank and welcome the Revd Melanie Crowley from St Faith's to the 8.00 BCP Holy Communion at St Ippolyts and the Revd Canon John Payne Cook to the 9.30 CW Eucharist at Little Wymondley

Friday     Friday 5 June             The pupils of Years 5 & 6 at St Ippolyts School set off for their Annual School Journey - this year to the outdoor adventure centre at Barton Hall, Devon.  We wish them a happy and exciting time.

Sunday 14 June           St Ippolyts & Gosmore Open Gardens    Noon-6pm. More than 12 gardens to visit.  Admission £5 (children under 16 free) - tickets will be on sale on the day from the Parish Hall, Gosmore Green and the car park off Maydencroft Lane.  All proceeds to St Ippolyts Church.  If you can help in any way on the day (with the parking, baking cakes, selling of refreshments, programmes, raffle tickets or whatever) there are sign-up sheets at the back of St Ippolyts Church.  Do join in.
