In spite of the dreadful weather our annual horse blessing service took place on Sunday afternoon on 16th August. Eighteen trusty steeds and their riders plus numerous onlookers gathered to see Revd Ginni bless the horses who were all given a carrot treat afterwards. The service is held to raise money for our local Riding for the Disabled Charity and a splendid £296 was collected. Thank you to everyone that turned out in the pouring rain. Revd Ginni said that it was the wettest she had ever been (apart from having a bath or shower!!)
Photographs of the event courtesy of Robert Halliday are in our gallery. Thanks to Robert, he always supports our event even though he lives in Suffolk, thanks to everyone that helped and thanks to all that supported us. See you next year!
